I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, went to college at University of Wisconsin-Madison and now live in the middle of cornfields about 30 miles from Madison. Quite a move, don’t you think?

When I was a little girl I demanded my own room, a writer needs her own space to create, I got it. The next night I was back in the bedroom with my three sisters. I now have my own writing room, where I work every day, and only give it up when the grandkids come to visit.

I’ve worked as an RN, EMT, volunteer ski patroller, did a short (mercifully) stint as a waitress, continue to farm with my husband, other sundry work, and write.
